Spend a night in the Dana Reed Designs studio creating a one-of-a-kind spinner ring that is uniquely yours.

Start with metal and make it your own. Experiment with texture, hammering, movement, and mixed metals as you shape and build your ring under Dana and Carrie's guidance. You'll learn the techniques, make the creative decisions, and leave with a finished piece designed by you.

No jewelry-making experience necessary—just bring your personal style.

Join us in the Dana Reed Designs studio for a relaxed, small-group workshop where you'll learn traditional metalsmithing techniques while creating a unique two-part spinner ring.

You'll learn how to form, texture, solder and finish your ring using real metalsmithing tools and techniques. Your ring features a wide inner band with a separate outer band that spins freely around it.

No previous jewelry-making experience is necessary. With only four students per workshop, you'll have plenty of individual guidance along the way.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Your $195 workshop fee includes hands-on instruction, use of all tools and equipment, and copper for learning, practicing and creating your ring.

STERLING SILVER UPGRADE

Ready to work in sterling? After learning the techniques in copper, you can choose to create your finished spinner ring in sterling silver for an additional materials charge.

WHAT TO WEAR

You'll be working with real metalsmithing tools and a torch, so please wear closed-toe shoes and avoid loose clothing. Long hair should be tied back.
