Pendant Necklace Workshop

Create a sterling silver pendant necklace that's uniquely yours in this hands-on metalsmithing workshop.

Join us in the Dana Reed Designs studio for a relaxed, small-group workshop where you'll learn the fundamentals of traditional metalsmithing while creating your own hand-stamped pendant necklace.

You'll learn how to shape, texture, stamp and finish metal using real metalsmithing tools and techniques. Personalize your pendant with letters, numbers, symbols or textures to create a piece that tells your story.

We'll begin by working with copper so you can get comfortable with the tools and techniques before moving on to your finished piece.

No previous jewelry-making experience is necessary. With only four students per workshop, you'll have plenty of individual guidance along the way.

STERLING SILVER UPGRADE

Ready to work in sterling? After learning the techniques in copper, you can choose to create your finished pendant in sterling silver for an additional materials charge.

WHAT TO WEAR

You'll be working with real metalsmithing tools, so please wear closed-toe shoes and avoid loose clothing. Long hair should be tied back.
