Concrete Five Diamond Statement Ring

Bold in scale and rich in contrast, the Concrete Five Diamond Statement Ring is a true one-of-a-kind statement piece.

Created using the traditional Japanese Mitsuro Hikime technique, wax is stretched and pulled by hand to create flowing ridges and irregular layers before being cast in sterling silver. The silver is deeply oxidized, bringing definition to the sculptural surface.

Generous amounts of 18k gold are melted directly onto the silver, creating an irregular, richly textured surface of dark silver and warm gold. Across the front, five diamonds in varying sizes are individually set in solid 14k gold bezels, adding dimension and brilliant points of light.

Substantial, sculptural and intentionally imperfect, the variations created through the handmade process are what give this ring its individual character.
