Concrete Gold Drop Ring

Flowing texture and scattered touches of gold give the Concrete Gold Drop Ring its organic, sculptural character.

Created using the traditional Japanese Mitsuro Hikime technique, wax is stretched and pulled by hand to form fluid ridges and folds before being cast in sterling silver. The finished ring is oxidized to emphasize the depth and movement of the surface.

Small 14k gold accents are individually placed across the ring in organic, irregular positions, adding warm points of contrast against the darkened silver.

The hand-shaped wax and spontaneous placement of the gold ensure that each ring has its own individual character.
