Twisted Crete Taffy Ring

Sculptural and organic, the Twisted Crete Taffy Ring is created using Mitsuro Hikime, a traditional Japanese wax-working technique in which the wax is repeatedly stretched and pulled to create distinctive flowing ridges and folds.

Cast in sterling silver, the ring is deeply oxidized to bring out every twist and crevice. 18k gold is melted directly onto the surface, creating unexpected flashes of warm gold against the darkened silver.

The process makes each ring beautifully unpredictable, with variations in texture and gold placement that make every piece unique.
